About

Henry “Butch” Cote is the principal artist. His passion for art and original craftsmanship began at an early age and is woven into the many facets that have shaped his career.

Cote spend much of his childhood playing on construction sites while his father, a contractor and craftsman, oversaw a variety of building projects. He enjoyed countless hours creating an early version of his art, using non-traditional objects and textures found throughout the various construction sites. In addition, his father had a knack for woodworking and sketching that was quickly absorbed by Cote’s endless curiosity and desire to learn. This early immersion and textile exploration helped to shape his principle belief that art is in everything and we possess the ability to manifest our visions into reality.

In addition to his artwork, Cote has a passion for engaging and making people happy. “That has always been the greatest reward for me,” says Cote. “Money has never been a driver, my goal has been to add value, create joy and evoke an emotional response from people - in a positive way.”

This desire first led him to become a stylist after a brief time studying at college. Born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Cote left the University of New Hampshire to attend the Continental Academy of Hair and went on to spend the next 20 years as a hair stylist, developing his own haircare line and salon studio. An overwhelming reaction to one of Cote’s paintings by a client in 2018, provided the tipping point for him to shift gears and dedicate himself to the pursuit of launching the art services.

One true constant in Cote’s life has been his dedication to learning, exploring and immersing himself in new ideas, concepts, and personal growth. “I love to try new things, to lean into change, and do things differently. Continuing my education fuels my creativity, triggers my mind and inspires me to try new things.”

All of the original artwork is crafted by hand, however Cote embraces technology and loves exploring digital applications to create variations of lifestyle decor and apparel. “I enjoy texture, creating sculptures, working with wood panels, and using a variety of unconventional materials.”

Cote has resided in Las Vegas for more than 20 years and takes great pride in the city’s constant evolution, emerging art scene, and global population. The vibrant culture, structured chaos, and kaleidoscope of lights and color, serve as an endless inspiration.
